GREAT START - HUNGRY FOR MORE

12/17/2013

Week 1 was a great week for Simsbury Girls Basketball.  Two very convincing wins with great defense and offensive efficiency on display.  There are some tough games coming up and a lot still to prove this season.  I couldn't be more excited about what we have done, but I am hungry to drive towards our next success.

Team - here is your homework assignment in absence of practice tonight.  Post a comment to this blog answering the following questions:

1.  What has been your favorite part of the season to this point?

2.  Coach Zullo annoys me when he...(yes you can pick on me)

3.  I like it when Coach Zullo...(yes you have to be nice to me after you pick on me)

4.  What are your individual goals for this season?

5.  What are your team goals for this season?

Have some fun with it - Coach Z

1. What has been your favorite part of the season to this point?

Beating Conard 50 to 11 because we all played to the best of our ability and we played as a team.

2. Coach Zullo annoys me when he...(yes you can pick on me)

is wearing untied Sperry's and he STILL beats me easily at one on one after practice!

3. I like it when Coach Zullo...(yes you have to be nice to me after you pick on me)

helps us with individual skill work at the end of practice because doing post moves with Bri and Allie has been helping me a lot.

4. What are your individual goals for this season?

I want to get at least 10 rebounds in every game and work on my post moves.

5. What are your team goals for this season?

I want us to make it to the state tournament.

1. Beating East Hartford because we lost to them last year and it was a great way to start the season.
2. He tells the boys to leave the gym at the beginning of practice
3. Says "Stick it" every time I shoot
4. To not make turnovers and be stronger with the ball.
5. Make the state and conference tournament and keep playing games as long as we can into the postseason.
